About this badge

This course provides an applied and practical approach to the management and care of art and artifact collections—and the skills that are needed to be a registrar—whether for a museum, gallery, or private collection. Topics include implementing a collection management policy; registration methods, documentation, and record keeping; budgeting; and basic care and preservation of objects such as paintings, works on paper, furniture, textiles, new media, and ethnographic objects.
