About this badge

This intensive, two-day workshop introduces the museum exhibit design process, from concept to installation, using case studies from cultural and natural history museums and science centers. Explore the interpretive potential of artifacts, graphics, AV programs and interactives, text, and architectural elements as well as the roles of the design team, museum administrators, curators, researchers, media producers, hardware and lighting consultants, and fabricators. As an optional sketch exercise, develop an interpretive installation concept and submit it to the instructor subsequent to the class.
