Globalization has been driving a growing need for translation of contracts, the bedrock of trade and commerce. Notwithstanding their infinite variety, contracts follow a fairly standard format. This workshop provides participants with hands-on practice in translating basic contract provisions, and introduces them to a variety of specialized clauses found in contracts used in various industries. Students gain a solid foundation in contract writing style and terminology that enables them to translate accurately and efficiently a broad array of contract types common in business and international trade.
