About this badge

This course reviews and explains key elements of sample loan agreements for both private placements and bank standard loan agreements. Then, using the case-study method designed by the instructor, learn how to assess where credit risks are in individually proposed loans and how to develop loan agreements that mitigate those risks. The focus is on understanding structural subordination within consolidated financials and on using a wide variety of financial ratios, including Altman’s Z Scores, to identify credit risks and to reduce such risks via loan covenants.
