About this badge

Gain a solid understanding of the financial portfolio—the structure within which financial assets are managed. In this course, explore the investment process, with various environmental inputs and with fine-tuning based on client specific inputs. Other topics covered include management of customer expectations, risk analysis, economics, and industry trends. We look at the benefits and challenges of global investing, the use of alternative investments as a means of diversification and/or return enhancement, and risk management. Work in class to build a real portfolio of publicly traded stocks/ETFs to present such as a final project. Guest lecturers include portfolio managers.
