About this badge

This diploma program is no longer accepting new applications.

Employers are seeking talented individuals to compile massive amounts of data (both structured and unstructured) and to interpret meaning from the results--packaging that analysis into business solutions. A recent employer survey from Avanade, a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft, indicated that more than 60 percent of respondents believe that their employees need to develop new skills to translate data into insights and business values.

Transform from a run-of-the-mill analyst into a valuable organizational asset by gaining the storytelling skills for converting data into usable information that drives strategic business decisions. These recommendations are not necessarily given in isolation; rather, they may ladder-up to an overall recommendation that incorporates other findings from fellow coworkers and staff members. Employers are saying that it is not enough simply to present reports and dashboards using the latest software tools--they now are asking analysts to illustrate how data findings can be useful in driving the core strategies of an organization. The Diploma in Data Analytics affords a more thorough understanding of customer motivations in order to drive future growth.
