If you have written a first draft of a screenplay, then this intensive workshop can guide you through the crucial process of rewriting. Class time is divided between workshopping sections of scripts and lectures on finding and fixing structural problems, bringing characters to life, improving dialogue, strengthening scenes, and more. In-class exercises aid the rewriting process. Be prepared to make significant changes in structure, plot, and character, as required. The rewriting process is completed in the first 10 weeks, and the final two sessions are reserved for one-on-one meetings with the instructor.
