About this badge

In this class, you will focus on reading and writing for academic purposes. You will read from news articles, op-eds, essays, and excerpts from textbooks in different areas of study and study paragraph structure, development, and organization, as well as essay structure. You will work on multiple drafts to improve your ability to edit your own writing and organize your ideas. By the end of the course, you will be able to write a 5 paragraph essay.
