In this one-week intensive, learn the basics of dramatic writing for the screen with an emphasis on structure, characterization, and dialogue. Explore pitch-writing, three-act structure, and proper screenplay format––and write pages in class under the close supervision of the instructor. The goal of the course is a completed script outline and the first draft of your screenplay’s first act. The only prerequisite is a love for movies and a desire to tell a story with pictures.
