About this badge

This short course is a beginner’s guide to fundraising and will introduce the tenets of effective fundraising for a nonprofit organization. The important role of a fundraiser, namely to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, will be clarified. This course also will explain the role that foundations and corporations play in advancing the missions of nonprofit organizations, in addition to individual donors who provide annual, planned, or major gifts.
