About this badge

This six-week course helps students build confidence in their ability to speak in professional settings. Students practice and discuss roleplays for various workplace scenarios, receive feedback on how others perceive them and gain an understanding of oral communication practices in the U.S. workplace. Classes explore topics such as speaking concisely, small talk, body language, active listening, giving and receiving feedback, paraphrasing and effective questioning.
